  • A consistent and dependable relief workhorse who can pitch on consecutive days. Goes after hitters with his above-average heat and stays around the plate.

  • Leans too heavily on his fastball, which has lost some zip with age; his little-used slider isn't very effective as a second pitch. Can give up too many hits.
