  • Had a resilient arm. Could crank his fastball up to 97-m.p.h in his prime. When he got ahead in the count, he was extremely effective. Could start or relieve.
Flaws
  • Struggled the more teams saw him. His quality fastball lacked movement, which led to a lot of home runs against him. Was more of a thrower than pitcher.
