Assets
  • Converted from the outfield, Johnson is a sound defensive second baseman. He also has a nice power stroke and a very patient approach at the plate.
Flaws
  • Can be a little too all-or-nothing offensively (waiting for walks or perfect pitches). His glove is good but not great. Has some speed but doesn't use it well on the basepaths.
Career Potential
  • Good-hitting, average-fielding 2B.
