Recap: Baltimore vs. Toronto

Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Michael Aubrey had a grand slam and a two-run homer to lead the Baltimore Orioles in a 13-7 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in the opener of a season-ending, three-game set from Camden Yards.
Nick Markakis went 3-for-4, scored twice and drove in two runs for the Orioles, who won their second straight game on the heels of a 13-game slide. Matt Wieters had a three-run homer in the win. Jason Berken (6-12), who last won on September 15 against the Rays, got the win after going five innings and giving up four runs on five hits.
Edwin Encarnacion had a three-run homer for the Blue Jays, who had won nine of 10 entering play. Jose Bautista added a two-run blast and Randy Ruiz stroked a solo shot. Kyle Phillips also drove in a run in the setback. David Purcey (1-3) took the loss after giving up seven runs on eight hits in 3 2/3 innings of work.
The O's took a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Markakis had a two-run double and Ty Wigginton added a run-scoring groundout. Melvin Mora's RBI single in the third made it a four-run affair.
Encarnacion had a three-run homer in the fourth and Ruiz added a solo shot later in the frame to tie it up. Baltimore, though, scored nine runs over the next three innings.
Wieters had a three-run homer in the fourth, Aubrey had a two-run blast in the fifth and belted a grand slam in the sixth to make it 13-4. Phillips' RBI double off Chris Ray in the ninth and Bautista's ensuing two-run homer accounted for the final margin.
Prior to the game, the O's announced they have exercised the option on manager Dave Trembley's contract...There was a 23-minute rain delay in the eighth inning...It was Aubrey's first career grand slam and first multi-homer game. His six RBI set a career high...Toronto is 9-7 against the O's this season.
