A's coaching staff to remain intact for 2010

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Oakland Athletics announced on Tuesday that their coaching staff will return intact for the 2010 season.

Curt Young retains his position as pitching coach for the seventh season, Ron Romanick comes back for his third year as bullpen coach, Tye Waller will see his fourth season as bench coach, and returning for a second season will be hitting coach Jim Skaalen, third base coach Mike Gallego and first base coach Todd Stevenson.

Oakland posted its third consecutive losing season in 2009, going 75-87 and finishing last of four clubs in the AL West. All three have come under manager Bob Geren.
