Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Phillies starter Rodrigo Lopez made an early exit against the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night with right shoulder inflammation.
Lopez allowed two runs on five hits before leaving the game after five innings on the mound. It was his second outing since being called up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Lopez received a no-decision in a 3-2 Phillies win.
The righty had been out of the majors since 2007 before allowing two runs on six hits and a walk in 6 1/3 innings to earn a 7-2 win over the Mets last Friday.
