Calen Carr, who scored the Dynamo's goal, was subbed off in the 60th minute after suffering an apparently knee injury.
The Houston Dynamo have suffered a bit of blow when Calen Carr was subbed off in the 60th minute after suffering an apparent knee injury on Saturday. Carr, who scored the Dynamo's goal that had them leading 1-0 at the time of the injury, collided with Omar Gonzalez around the 55th minute.
Trainers spent a few moments treating Carr on the field, where it appeared that his knee looked very loose. He then came off the field with Mac Kandji replacing him a few minutes later.
Up until the injury, Carr had probably been the Dynamo's best player and had certainly been their most consistently dangerous. In addition to his stoppage-time goal in the first half, Carr had created several opportunities, including one just a few minutes before his injury.
Kandji has been a dangerous player for the Dynamo this season, but has not had the finishing touch that Carr has shown.
