C.B. Dollaway looked like a more mature fighter in his UFC 119 bout with Joe Doerksen. Early in the first round he was able to lock Doerksen in an arm-in guillotine choke but it was clear he wouldn't get the submission from that position so he simply held it and didn't burn his arms out. Once Doerksen finally attempted to make a move Dollaway changed to a straight guillotine choke. The two men rolled several times before Dollaway was able to end up on top and wrench the hold forcing the submission.
This was a much more mature Dollaway than the man who many thought would only be remembered as the guy Amir Sadollah submitted twice en-route to winning The Ultimate Fighter.
