Jason 'Mayhem' Miller v. Tim Kennedy Rubber Match Planned For Strikeforce: Columbus

Strikeforce: Columbus is expected to take place on March 5 and will be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Dan Henderson and Rafael Cavalcante. The latest addition to the card appears to be a third fight between Tim Kennedy and Jason Miller. Sources have confirmed the bout with MMA Mania.

Kennedy is coming off a loss to Ronaldo Souza at Strikeforce: Houston in a bout to crown a middleweight champion. Prior to the loss Kennedy had rattled off four straight wins all by submission or knockout. Jason "Mayhem" Miller defeated Kazushi Sakuraba in his last bout.

The two men first met in the Extreme Challenge 50 tournament back in February of 2003. Kennedy won the fight by decision. Their second meeting was won by Jason Miller by decision on an HDNet Fights show in 2007. That bout can be seen in its entirety here.

The winner of the fight positions themselves for a future title shot.
