The first bout on the UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch main card was Chris Cammozi vs. Kyle Noke. Noke, a former body guard to Steve Irwin, was a cast member on season 11 on Spike TV's "The Ultimate Fighter". Chris Camozzi, a respectable young fighter with improving skill, was looking to make a name for himself with more casual fans.
The referee in charge is John Sharp.
ROUND 1 - Noke launches in with a right hand and now an outside kick. Camozzi responds with stiff kicks of his own. Body kick glances off of Noke's body, but Noke finds himself in full mount over Camozzi after a scramble on the ground. Noke flairs out, hits the body triangle as he takes the back and cinches the rear naked choke.
Referee John Sharp stops the fight as Kyle Noke submits Chris Camozzi at 1:35 of round 1 with a rear naked choke.
