UFC 128 Fight Card Preview: Joseph Benavidez Vs Ian Loveland

There isn't much love for Ian Loveland in this fight and you can expect that trend to continue right here. Simply put, it's just hard to pick against Joseph Benavidez right now. Benavidez looked great in his rebound fight with Wagnney Fabiano as he was able to choke out the 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. I'm just not sure how Loveland gameplans for this fight.

Benavidez is sure to take notice of Loveland's recent victories which include four stoppages in five fights. I think Loveland's only shot in this fight is to try to catch Benavidez on the way in. If Loveland can stymie his opponents takedowns he can use his reach and four-inch height advantage to try to pick him apart. Still, I have to go with Benavidez in this one.
