The first UFC 128: Shogunvs. Jones was a lightweight bout between elite lightweight strikers Anthony Njokuani and Edson Barboza. The two promised to put on an elite display of mixed martial arts striking. The referee in charge is Keith Peterson.

Diving uppercut to the body lands for Barboza. Left hook to the body for Njokuani. Barboza gets a takedown with thirty seconds left in the round. Njokuani stands. Hard spinning heel kick lands for Barboza as the bell rings.
