Round two was not much better for Mauricio Rua. Jon Jones continued to dominate. He didn't do as much damage physically as he did in the first, but still took the round easily.
ROUND 3 - Shogun chasing in with punches, but hits nothing but air. Head kick misses for Jones. In a short scramble, Jones puts Rua on his back again. Now moves to half guard. From the guard he is crushing Shogun with pure punches. And another, including elbows. Shogun rolls to avoid being finished and stands, but is being annihiliated here.
Shogun stands but is completely busted up at this point. Jones lands a knee standing and a body shot and drops Shogun to the canvas. Referee Herb Dean has seen enough and jumps in to save the former PRIDE and UFC champion.
UFC commentator Joe Rogan put it best "It wasn't even a struggle". Words fail me. He is incredible.
