UFC On Versus 3 Results: Brian Bowles Chokes Out Damacio Page Again

The first fight of the night on the Versus broadcast at UFC on Versus 3 is Brian Bowles vs. Damacio Page. This bout is a rematch of their fight at WEC 35 where Bowles won by guillotine. Bowles enters this bout on a significant layoff, having last competed against current UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz nearly one year ago.

The referee in charge of the action is Chris Kinman.

ROUND 1 - Page comes out strong firing heavy shots including a flying knee, but nothing significantly lands. Two outside leg kicks land for Page. And another. Overhand right for Bowles barely misses. Right hand to the body, left land to the head for Bowles. Page lands a knee followed by a middle kick. The outside leg kick finds the mark again. Bowles goes back to the right hand to the body, left hand to the head combination. Bowles connects with an uppercut and rocks and drops Page. Bowles jumps into a guillotine and for the second time chokes out Damacio Page.
