UFC 129 Dana White Video Blog Day 1

UFC President Dana White's video blog series is back, this time for UFC 129: St. Pierre vs. Shields. I'm not biggest fan of these videos, but I'm probably also not the target audience. They occasionally show behind-the-scenes footage of note, but combine that with a healthy dose of juvenile humor. It's the sort of thing friends enjoy sharing with friends, meaning this is material more suited for the UFC fan than MMA media. As I previously indicated, I'm aware I'm not the audience for this.

In this particular episode, there's plenty of humiliation for Zuffa employees, most notably the company's chief financial officer, John Mulkey. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell also gives his prediction for the winner of Georges St. Pierre vs. Jake Shields, naturally picking former training partner Shields to win. Of more interest to me personally is backstage and cageside footage of Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley. White and Lorenzo Fertitta are shown cageside watching a couple of fights, more notably the main event where both men become filled with awe with the ensuing action.
