I've only got one video of the event right now, but I promise to add more as they come in. Even though Zuffa now owns Strikeforce, they haven't yet lent their streaming technology to cover weigh-ins, press conferences or the like. No word on when, or if, that may happen.
As you can see in this video, Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz and challenger Paul Daley couldn't even be turned to do a side pose off. This is at once unsurprising and not. On the one hand, both fighters are prone to verbal sparring (although Diaz does so without wit). It makes sense this result would happen. On the other hand, neither man was particularly brash about their chances against the other. Both were complimentary leading up to the fight of their opposition, leading many to speculate what sort of fight they'd produce.
The video tells the true story. Both were probably distracted with short training camps (Daley, at least) as well as the Zuffa purchase of Strikeforce. Now that it's go-time, their negative energy is finally being aimed at one another.
