MFC 29 Results: Ali Mokdad Chokes Out Andreas Spang In First Round

The first fight of the night on HDNet for Maximum Fighting Championship 29 is Andreas Spang vs. Ali Mokdad. The referee in charge of the action is Yves Lavigne. This is a middleweight bout.

ROUND 1 - From the clinch Mokdad takes Spang to the ground with an outside trip. GNP now from Mokdad. Mokdad using a Turk and now takes the back of Spang early in the first round. Gable grip attempt to finish the choke doesn't do the trick. Mokdad switches to the bicep grip and that's wrap. Easy fight for Mokdad. I don't think Spang landed any offense whatsoever.

MFC 29 results: Ali Mokdad defeats Andreas Spang by submission (rear naked choke) at 1:35 of round 1.
