SB Nation's live coverage of the Bernard Hopkins (51-5-2, 32 KO) vs. Jean Pascal (26-1-1, 16 KO) rematch will start at 10 p.m. ET. The bout, as well as a light heavyweight undercard clash between "Bad" Chad Dawson and Adrian Diaconu will be shown live on HBO. The main event bout between Hopkins and Pascal is a rematch of their controversial December 2010 bout which ended in a draw.
The bout takes place at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The Haitian born French-Canadian Pascal has fought 6 previous times at the Bell Centre, compiling a 6-0 record with two of those wins coming by knockout.
Scott Christ of SB Nation boxing blog Bad Left Hook breaks down the ring, and life, experience difference between the two men:
Pascal is 28 years old, born nine months after Bernard Hopkins legally became an adult in the United States. That has its perks in theory. At 46, Hopkins is beyond an old man in the fight game, but he's yet to truly let age catch up to him, though Father Time has started creeping up behind him just a little bit more in recent fights. Beyond just their birthdays, Hopkins has fought 432 rounds as a professional since his debut in 1988, compared to Pascal's 194 since turning pro in 2005.
