A rematch is set in motion. Welterweights Marius Zaromskis and Hayato Sakurai are set to clash again at DREAM: Fight For Japan, the DREAM promotion announced. Bloody Elbow has the details:
Dream officials announced late last night that Dream welterweight champion Marius Zaromskis will be taking on Japanese legend Hayato "Mach" Sakurai at Dream: Japan GP Final on July 16th at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo. Strangely though, the title will not be on the line for the belt. This fight is a rematch of the 2009 Dream Welterweight Grand Prix semifinal, where Zaromskis won by head kick knockout.

According to officials with the DREAM Japanese-based promotion, former Sengoku Raiden Championship lightweight Eiji Mitsuoka has signed with DREAM and will debut with the promotion next month. He'll reportedly face Brazilian Bruno Carvalho. Both Mitsuoka and Carvalho will be making their DREAM debuts.
Mitsuoka enters this bout have most recently defeated Jung Gyeong Lee at DEEP 53 in April. Carvalho will be making his DREAM debut having most recently defeated Claudio Chatuba by TKO (strikes) in the first round at Watch Out Combat Show 12 in May.

According to multiple reports, Japanese-based DREAM promotion has booked Todd Duffee to face King of the Cage (KOTC) Heavyweight Champion Nick Gaston as part of their DREAM 17 card. The event takes place on July 16 at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan. This is Duffee's second fight in DREAM and a first for Gaston.
Duffee most recently competed in DREAM against DREAM and Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem, losing in just 19 seconds after taking the fight on short notice in a December bout.
As of the time of this writing, DREAM's North American television carrier HDNet does not plan on televising this event.
