Strikeforce Challengers 16 Fight Card: Antwain Britt, Danillo Villefort Out With Injury

According to multiple reports, both Antwain Britt and Danillo Villefort are out of their bout at Strikeforce Challengers 16. MMA Junkie confirmed the news with Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker this afternoon. Britt, historically a light heavyweight, was set to make his middleweight debut against Villefort. This would've been Britt's fourth fight in the Strikeforce organization. For Villefort, this was to be his Strikeforce debut.

Britt vs. Villefort was set to air on Showtime. There have been no announcements regarding which bout will serve as the television replacement.

Strikeforce Challengers 16 takes place June 24th at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. The event will air live at 11 p.m. ET.
