UFC On Versus 4 Results: Charles Oliveira Submits Nik Lentz, But Only After Botched Refereeing Job

The third fight of the night at UFC on Versus 4 and airing on Facebook is Nik Lentz vs. Charles Oliveira. This is a lightweight fight, meaning 155lbs. SB Nation MMA spoke to Oliveira about this fight earlier this week, so be sure to read it. The referee in charge of the action is Chip Snider.

ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox. Lentz uses an outside trip to take Oliveira to the floor, but stands out of the guard and eats an up kick. In a scramble, Oliveira attempts a leg lock, but nothing doing. Lentz again stands out of the guard and Oliveira stands. Excellent straight jab-leg kick combo from Oliveira. Hard knees from the Thai plum from Oliveira, but a hard right hand from Lentz. Another hand knee  and a right hand drops Lentz. Oliveira transitions from a d'arce to a guillotine but Lentz escapes. Now Lentz jumps guillotine, but Oliveira seems ok and escapes. Harai ogoshi from Oliveira puts him into mount and he lands a HARD elbow on top.

ROUND 2 - Flying knee by Oliveira, but it's caught and Lentz takes him to the ground. After a missed triangle, Oliveira reverses Lentz, but Lentz now attempting an arm-in guillotine. Oliveira lands an illegal knee, but the referee did nothing. Oliveira takes Lentz's back in a scramble and sinks the rear naked choke.
