Just two weeks out from the event, and the undercard of "UFC Fight Night 25" has undergone an abrupt makeover. ‘The Ultimate Fighter Season 9' alum DaMarques Johnson (12-9) has been scratched from a welterweight bout with Clay Harvison (9-3) due to undisclosed injuries. Taking his place is ‘The Ultimate Fighter Season 11' veteran Seth Baczynski (13-6).

Also announced, Mackens Semerzier (6-3) has been removed from a featherweight bout against Mike Lullo (8-3) due to undisclosed injuries. A replacement opponent is expected to be named shortly. Promotion officials announced the changes Wednesday afternoon.

A well known player within the southwest mixed martial arts scene, Baczynski gets his second shot for the UFC after a run to the quarterfinals of ‘TUF 11.' Since losing to Brad Tavares at the show's finale last June, the 29-year-old has railed off two consecutive victories within regional promotions, last claiming the Ringside interim welterweight title in April.

"UFC Fight Night 25: Shields vs. Ellenberger" is headlined by a five-round, non-title welterweight bout between former Strikeforce champion Jake Shields and rising prospect Jake Ellenberger. The event is slated for September 17th at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
