After a flurry of developments throughout the past few days, the main card of UFC 137 is finally set in stone. Engrained UFC welterweight champion Georges "Rush" St. Pierre defends his belt against former WEC champion Carlos "Natural Born Killer" Condit in the night's main event. Co-headlining is a welterweight tilt between former lightweight champion B.J. Penn and former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz.
With the onset of the official bout confirmations, oddsmakers at Bodog.eu have released the opening betting lines for the two anticipated contests. Not surprisingly, St. Pierre is an overwhelming favorite to defeat Condit. Currently the challenger is slated as a three-to-one underdog.
In the night's other bout, Penn has been tabbed as the slight favorite over Diaz, though the odds are much closer. It'll be interesting to see how these lines change as the event nears, as the subtle shift generally reveals the sway of public opinion.
