UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will meet former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar in the main event.

The title bout will also serve as Edgar's debut at featherweight. The pair were originally slated to face off at UFC 153 in Rio de Janeiro before Aldo was forced to withdraw due to injury. It was widely reported that Aldo was involved in an auto accident in Brazil while riding his motorcycle.
