The UFC makes its third appearance on Versus with UFC on Versus 3: Sanchez vs. Kampmann. The event will be held at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky on March 3, 2011. This marks the UFC's first foray into that state.

The event features four fights on the main card, headlined by a welterweight match-up between Diego "Nightmare" Sanchez and Martin "The Hitman" Kampmann. Also on the card is a middleweight scrap between former NCAA Division I wrestling standouts C.B. Dolloway and Mark Munoz. Middleweight Alessio Sakara returns to action against UFC newcomer Chris Weidman. The final fight on the main card is a bantamweight rematch between Brian Bowles and Damacio Page.
