UFC 131 takes place June 11 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The card will be headlined by former interim UFC heavyweight champion Shane Carwin as he takes on No. 1 heavyweight contender Junior dos Santos.

Dos Santos was originally set to face UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez before the champion suffered an injury during training. dos Santos was again slated to face former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar before he too was forced to withdraw. The winner of this bout is expected to Face Velasquez four to five months following the fight.

Also featured on the card, former lightweight standout Kenny Florian will make his debut at 145lbs against Diego Nunes.

Former WEC star Donald Cerrone, originally set to take on Mac Danzig, faces late-replacement Vagner Rocha.

In a middleweight contest, jiu-jitsu ace Demian Maia faces off against former NCAA Division I national champion wrestler Mark Munoz.
