Shark Fights 14: Horwich vs. Villefort

Mar 11, 2011 10:00 PM EST Fair Park Coliseum, Lubbock, Texas

Shark Fights 14 will take place on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Fair Park Coliseum in Lubbock, Texas. The main event of the evening will be a middleweight matchup between MMA journeyman Matt Horwich and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Danillo Villefort.

A fight between Houston Alexander and James Irvin has been canceled after it was revealed that Irvin allegedly failed a post-fight drug test following his fight with Jorge Oliveira at Tachi Palace Fights last December. The pair fought once before in 2008 at UFC Fight Night: Kenny Florian vs Joe Lauzon, a fight that saw Irvin tie the record for fastest knockout in UFC history.

'Big' John McCarthy will be the official referee overseeing the night's competition.
