DREAM.17: Fight for Japan

May 29, 2011 8:00 PM EDT Saitama Super Arena, Saitama, Japan

Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG) is expected to host a bantamweight grand prix beginning May 29 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

'DREAM: Japan Grand Prix' is expected to feature eight fighters: Hideo Tokoro, Masakazu Imanari, Darren Uyenoyama, Takafumi Otsuka, Keisuke Fujiwara, Atsushi Yamamoto, Yoshiro Maeda and Kenji Osawa.

The opening rounds of the grand prix are scheduled for May, while the final round will take place in July. The tournament's top three competitors will earn a position in a DREAM world bantamweight grand prix.

The event will also host non-tournament bouts featuring Joachim Hansen vs. Mitsuhiro and Nishiura vs. Caol Uno.
