Bellator 47 will take place Jul. 23 at Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada and will host the semifinal round of Bellator's "Summer Series" featherweight tournament. Marlon Sandro takes on Nazareno Malegarie while Pat Curran faces Ronnie Mann.

Bellator featherweight champion Joe Warren was slated to defend his title against Patricio “Pitbull” Freire In the main event, but the fight has been rescheduled for the fall after Freire suffered a broken hand during training.

Despite a controversial main event, Bellator Fighting Championships' electrifying fifth season ended on a high note. According to figures collected by MMA Nation, the promotion's heavyweight and bantamweight tournament finale drew approximately 265,000 viewers, fifth most in Bellator history.
