BAMMA 7: Wallhead vs. Trigg

BAMMA 7 will take place Sept. 10, 2011 at the NIA Arena in Birmingham, England.

After refusing to make the trip from Paris just hours before weigh-ins, Leonardo Santos has withdrawn from his featured title bout for the lightweight title with champion Rob Sinclair after claiming he could not make weight. BAMMA veteran Diego Vital steps in to replace Santos and will face Sinclair for the lightweight title.

UFC veteran Frank Trigg was originally set to face middleweight champion Tom Watson in a title bout, but Watson has been scratched from the headliner after suffering a back injury. Trigg will now face Bellator veteran Jim "Judo" Wallhead in a non-title fight.

UFC veteran and TUF Season 8 lightweight winner Efrain Escudero was expected to face Tim Radcliffe but was unable to secure a travel visa.
