Bellator 54

Bellator 54 will take place Oct. 15, 2011 from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

A non-title three round bout between Bellator bantamweight champion Zach Makovsky and Ryan Roberts will serve as the night's main event.

The event will also play host to the two remaining middleweight tournament semifinal bouts featuring Bryan Baker vs. Vitor Vianna and Brian Rogers vs. Alexander Shlemenko.

Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez was scheduled to defend his title against undefeated season four tournament winner Michael Chandler, but an injury to Alvarez has delayed the title bout. According to Alvarez, he expects the fight to be rescheduled no later that 30 days from the planned bout on Oct. 15.
