UFC on Fox 2 will take place Jan. 28, 2012 at Chicago's United Center.

The main event features a non-title light heavyweight bout between former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and rising contender Phil Davis.

The co-main event features middleweights Chael Sonnen and Mark Munoz, with the winner possibly being granted a title shot against UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

Sonnen fell to Silva after taking the champion to task for five rounds during their championship bout at UFC 117 in August of 2010. Sonnen has been campaigning for a second shot at Silva since the loss, calling out the champion following a dominating performance over for WEC champion Brian Stann at UFC 136.
