Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Healy

Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Healy was originally set to take place Sept. 29, 2012 from the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, California, the same day the UFC will hold UFC on FUEL TV 5 in Nottingham, England.

On Sept. 24, Strikeforce announced that lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez had suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw from his title bout with Pat Healy. Due to the loss of Melendez, the entire event was cancelled.
