2012 MMA Fight Schedule

UFC 144: Edgar vs. Henderson Results:

UFC returns to Japan with an event slated for the Saitama Super Arena on Feb. 26, 2012. The event will air on pay-per-view in North America and WOWOW in Japan.

UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will face No. 1 contender Benson Henderson in the night's main event. Japanese fighters Norifumi Yamamoto, Takeya Mizugaki, Yushin Okami, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Takanori Gomi, Hatsu Hioki and Riki Fukuda serve as the native talent on the fight card.

The scale of the event is still unclear, but it is slated for the usual Saturday night time slot for Western viewers. Preliminary bouts are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. local time while the remainder of the card takes place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The UFC’s Japanese debut dates back to Dec. 21, 1997 with the promotion's 'Ultimate Japan' heavyweight tournament event, which saw MMA legend Randy Couture score a decision victory over Maurice Smith to become heavyweight champion.

Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey will take place Mar. 3, 2012 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

UFC on FX 2 Results:

UFC on FX 2 will take place Mar. 3, 2012 at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Welterweight contender Thiago Alves will face Martin Kampmann in the night's main event.

Bellator 60 Results:

Bellator 60 will take place Mar. 9, 2012 from the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana.

Bellator featherweight champion Joe Warren will defend his title for a second time against top contender and former tournament finalist Pat Curran.

Bellator 61 Results:

Bellator 61 will take place Mar. 16, 2012 from the Horseshoe Riverdome in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Bellator 61 will also serve as the promotion's Season six middleweight tournament opening round.

Bellator 62 Results:

Bellator 62 will take place Mar. 23, 2012 from the Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, Texas.

Bellator 62 will host the promotion's Season 6 lightweight tournament opening round.

Bellator 63 Reults:

Bellator 63 will take place Mar. 30, 2012 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Bellator 63 will also host the promotion's Season 6 welterweight tournament opening round.

A co-promotion between DREAM and ONE FC is rumored to be taking place Mar. 31, 2012 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

Bellator 64 will take place Apr. 6, 2012 from the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor in Windsor, Ontario.

Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren will defend his title against Season 5 tournament winner Douglas Lima in the night's main event.

Bellator 65 Results:

Bellator 65 will take place Apr. 13 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Bellator bantamweight champion Zach Makovsky will defend his title against Season 5 tournament winner Eduardo Dantas.
