Mixed martial arts events can run the gamut from major, arena-filling productions to unsanctioned shows in the backrooms of gyms. Leading the pack in high-quality events staged per year in North America is the Ultimate Fighting Championship, who produces cards primarily for pay-per-view (PPV), as well as the Fox Broadcasting Company. In addition to Fox, the UFC's programming also routinely appears on its family of networks in the form of 'The Ultimate Fighter' reality series and Ultimate Fight Nights on FX and FUEL TV channels. Some of the UFC's chief domestic competition includes Strikeforce and Bellator Fighting Championships. Internationally, promotions such as Asia's ONE Fighting Championship, Canada's Maximum Fighting Championship and Poland's KSW have gained reputations for staging quality events.
