Strikeforce is on pace to hold 10 "major" events in 2010, mostly televised on premium cable network Showtime on Saturday nights. One card, "Strikeforce: Nashville," was aired live on CBS. The company also promote the "ShoMMA/Strikeforce Challengers" series which airs periodically on Showtime on Friday nights and which focuses on up-and-coming fighters. Strikeforce has publicly discussed plans to enter the pay-per-view market, though no specific timeframe for such an event has been announced.

Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy will take place Jul. 14, 2012 from the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.
Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title against former champion Sarah Kaufman following a first-round armbar submission victory over Miesha Tate.
Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold will defend his title against Tim Kennedy.
Nate Marquardt and Tyron Woodley will meet in a welterweight title bout to determine the next Strikeforce champion. The title has remained vacant since former champion Nick Diaz left the promotion to sign with the UFC.
