Quinton Jackson vs Jon Jones

UFC 135 results: Jon Jones defeats Quinton "Rampage" Jackson via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:14 of round 4.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon 'Bones' Jones will make his first title defense against former champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. Jones recently unseated former PRIDE grad prix champion Maurício 'Shogun' Rua in a dominating performance to become the UFC's youngest champion. After a stunning first-round submission victory over rising light heavyweight Ryan Bader at UFC 126, Jones was told his training partner and then No. 1 contender Rashad Evans would be unable to challenge for the title against Rua six weeks later at UFC 128.

After dropping a close three-round decision in a grudge match to fellow 'Ultimate Fighter' coach Rashad Evans at UFC 114, Jackson has rebounded with two-straight victories over former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and Matt Hamill. Accusations of gamesmanship have come out of the Jackson camp with claims that a spy has been relaying information back to Jones. Jones, along with his manager Malki Kawa, assert these claims are nothing more than Jackson's attempt to hype their upcoming match and that no proof of the accusation has been offered.
