Widely considered the greatest heavyweight mixed martial artist of all time, Fedor "The Last Emperor" Emelianenko went nearly ten years without a loss. He competes next at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva on February 12, 2011 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He will face Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva as part of the first round of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix.
Arlovski holds wins over former PRIDE and UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, PRIDE Open Weight Grand Prix champion Mirko Cro Cop, Strikeforce heavyweight Andrei Arlovski and former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia. His unparalelled 27-fight win streak came to an end when he was submitted by Fabricio Werdum under the Strikeforce banner in June 2010.
Emelianenko has fought in RINGS, PRIDE, BodogFIGHT, Yarrenoka, DREAM, Affliction and now Strikeforce. Due to disagreements with UFC President Dana White, Emelianenko has never fought in the UFC.
Emelianenko is also a multiple Russian, European and World Combat Sambo champion. He took the bronze medal in the World Championships in 2008 in St. Petersburg.
Fedor Emelianenko is currently ranked 3rd among mixed martial arts (MMA) heavyweights according to the USA TODAY/SB Nation Consensus MMA Rankings.
