Muhammed Lawal defeats Lorenz Larkin by TKO (referee stoppage) at of 1:32 of round 2
An American freestyle wrestler who nearly represented America at the 2008 Beijing Games, "King Mo" Lawal has gained notoriety as one of the sport's brightest and most flamboyant young stars since making the transition to MMA in 2008. After beginning his career in Japan's Sengoku org, Lawal made his way to Strikeforce, where he defeated Gegard Mousasi to capture the promotion's light-heavyweight title in April 2010. He would lose the title and claim his first loss as a mixed martial artist four months later in a bout with Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante.
