Mousasi has competed in several weight classes, including an impressive run through the 2008 DREAM Middleweight Grand Prix. Mousasi moved on the Strikeforce, winning their light-heavyweight title from Renato "Babalu" Sobral and eventually losing it to Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal.
