UFC 141 results: Alexander Gustafsson defeats Vladimir Matyushenko at 2:13 of round 1.

Vladimir Matyushenko is a former two-time national junior college champion. Known as "The Janitor" and getting his start in MMA in 1997 Vladimir made his UFC debut with a win over Yuki Kondo at UFC 32 and would be given a title shot, losing to long-time champion Tito Ortiz. After several more fights with the promotion he eventually became a free agent following a KO loss to Andrei Arlovski.

Matyushenkowas the only IFL light heavyweight champion, winning the title in a bout with Alex Schoenauer and defending successfully against Jamal Patterson. At UFC 103 Matyushenko returned to the UFC where he was able to rattle off three straight wins before being dominated by Jon Jones.
