Mark Munoz was a two-time NCAA All-American at Oklahoma State University including a season that earned him a national championship. Munoz has expanded on his wrestling base to add a submission game and some diverse striking. Despite an impressive record, he is most famous for a head kick knockout loss to Matt Hamill.

Munoz is of Filipino decent and represents a possible star for further international expansion for the UFC.
