Ricco "Sauve" Rodriguez is a former UFC heavyweight champion who now competes for Bellator Fighting Championships. Rodriguez is a former ADCC Open Weight champion and a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Rodriguez has competed for the UFC, PRIDE, EliteXC, International Fight League (IFL), YAMMA, BAMMA, King of the Cage, MMA Extreme and other organizations.

He holds notable wins over Randy Couture, Andrei Arlovski, Jeff Monson, and Paul Buentello. He holds notable losses to Tim Sylvia, Ben Rothwell, Mario Rinaldi, Jeff Monson, Antonio Silva, Pedro Rizzo and Ron Waterman.

He fought a very controversial unanimous decision loss to former PRIDE and UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira. Many spectators and experts believe Rodriguez deserved the win.

Rodriguez was a cast member and participant on season one VH1's reality television show Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.
