Strikeforce

Strikeforce is an American-based Mixed Martial Arts company which began promoting MMA events in 2006. Currently owned by Silicon Valley Sports and Entertainment and run by CEO Scott Coker, Strikeforce events are broadcast throughout the U.S. and Canada. Strikeforce events have been nationally televised on CBS, as well as on premium cable network Showtime. Strikeforce consists of five different weight classes (Heavyweight, Light-Heavyweight, Middleweight, Welterweight, Lightweight), each with a champion. All events take place inside a six-sided cage.
