Founded in 2012 by legendary kickboxer "Sugar" Ray Sefo, World Series of Fighting features a tournament format in five weight classes ranging from lightweight to heavyweight. Sefo announced on Sept. 6, 2012 that the promotion's first event would take place Nov. 3, 2012 from the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. World Series of Fighting I will be televised on the NBC Sports Network (previously known as the Versus Channel).
