Although the season of fall officially arrived on Wednesday, it will fee more like summer Friday and Saturday. High temperatures on Friday will be near 90 and in the mid 80s on Saturday. A strong storm system moving out of the Great Lakes into Quebec Canada will drag with it a cold front through the area very slowly Friday night into Saturday afternoon. This front will have very little moisture to work with so not expecting any rain or storms associated with it.
By Sunday we will feel a little relief as cooler air finally works into the region bringing high temperatures down into the 70s. All three of the day skies should feature sunshine and a few clouds from time to time.
Friday:
11:30 a.m EDT – Sprint Cup Practice – Mostly sunny - temp: 84
1:00 p.m EDT – Nationwide Final Practice – Mostly sunny - temp: 87
3:00 p.m EDT – Sprint Cup Qualifying – Mostly sunny - temp: 89
