For the most part I say we are good for racing today, but as I have been saying all week, there is a very small possibility that an isolated shower could form during the afternoon. The risk is very low, and with the mountains that surround Bristol I feel almost certain this race will be dry.
The reason for the risk of rain is a stalled front to the south across Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. The front will move north as a warm front. There isn't a lot of moisture for this front to work with but as it gets closer a small risk of an isolated shower exsists. If rain become a threat I will keep you updated.
