Michigan International Speedway Weather Forecast: Should Be Dry But...

Conditions in Brooklyn, MI: Click here for Current Weather ConditionsLook at Doppler Radar | Mobile Friendly Site | Mobile Radar

It's a tricky forecast thanks to now nearly stationary front across southern Michigan. This could provide an area for scattered to isolated showers and storms to form. I want to stress, like many times this scenario has presented itself, the showers and storms have been hit or miss. If you have plans to be in Michigan for the race this weekend. Bring some rain gear, just in case, but you may end up not ever having to use it.

SATURDAY:
11:10 a.m EDT
Nationwide Qualifying – Clouds/Sun, Chc. of shower/storm - temp: 73
1:10 p.m EDT
Sprint Cup Qualifying – Mostly cloudy, chc. of shower/storm - temp: 75
3:30 p.m EDT
Nationwide Race – Mostly cloudy, chc. of shower/storm - temp: 79

SUNDAY:
1:00 p.m EDT
Sprint Cup Race  – Clouds and some sunshine - temp: 79

My take

Head to the race. At the very least, the track might get a passing shower and a possible win by Dale Jr. His last Cup win came at this track.

I'm a proud fan of the Minnesota Twins and Dallas Cowboys!

Similar Forecast to past Michigan Races

Jessy I totally agree. I have driven and been at attendance the last 3 Michigan races. The forecast for 2 of those have been similar to what we are seeing here. Small chance of an isolated or scattered shower. That is it.
