Television ratings for Sunday's NASCAR race at Sonoma were way up, and TNT's ratings overall are trending upward through half of its six-race broadcast schedule.â†µ
The Toyota/Save Mart 350 drew a 3.2 rating, which was up 17 percent over last year's Infineon Raceway event. For the season, TNT's ratings are up seven percent.
RaceBuddy, the free online video stream that allows fans to watch the race on NASCAR.com, has also seen an increase in viewership. Turner, which owns both TNT and NASCAR.com, says there were 848,000 video streams on RaceBuddy during Sunday's race – an increase of 211 percent over last year.â†µ
