Earnhardt Ganassi Racing Crewmen Arrested For Marijuana Trafficking

Two Earnhardt Ganassi Racing crewman were arrested Tuesday after police seized 10.5 pounds of marijuana, according to several reports.

The crewmen – Trevor Lynse (Juan Pablo Montoya's front tire changer) and Jerome Frey (a team mechanic) – were each charged with trafficking the drug and intent to sell and deliver it, ESPN.com reported.

Both crewmen appeared in court on Wednesday, according to SceneDaily.com. Their cases were set for a later date.

Obviously, drug trafficking would be a major violation of NASCAR's strict substance abuse policy. Suspensions are expected.
