The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Pocono Raceway for the second time this weekend, as the race to the Chase for the Sprint Cup continues to heat up.
This weekend the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series joins the Sprint Cup Series at Pocono, while the Nationwide Series heads to Iowa Speedway for a standalone weekend.
Roush Fenway Racing's Greg Biffle is the defending race winner, but has yet to find Victory Lane in 2011. Going into the weekend 13th in the standings, another strong run by Biffle could propel the No. 16 team into a Chase spot.
Biffle and the rest of the field will have to contend with Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin, however. The driver of the No. 11 Toyota has four wins at the ‘tricky triangle' and is looking to overcome a disappointing run there in June.
Coming off a strong run and confident statements at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Jeff Gordon is going for the Pocono sweep after scoring the victory in June. With five wins at Pocono, the now 40-year-old Gordon is looking to become the track's all-time winner.
